Project Challenge: {analysis}
Athletic Fields Inc. does exactly what their name says - they install athletic fields for schools, municipalities, even minor league baseball parks. They needed a site that would show of their work and capabilities. The site's target audience ranges from high school athletic directors to town mayors and even architects.
Updating the site with new projects as they were finished and making use of the great photography Athletic Fields had would be important in helping them land new jobs.
Project Solution: {hypothesis}
Sodium Halogen asked for architectural plans of some of the fields they had recently done. Those black and white plans became the visual element used as the framework for the site.
The site map was fairly large, so we used flash animation to draw attention and drive the traffic to the important parts of the site like the portfolio section. The site's portfolio section is driven by Phylum - Sodium Halogen's custom catalog system. It allows the AF team to enter new projects as they are finished.

Athletic Fields has been able to cut costs of sending out direct mail pieces while increasing sales by using the website as an up-to-date brochure and portfolio of work
